I think all of the processes are significant, but if I had to choose one it would be precipitation. I think this process is very important because it brings the water back down to the ground. As it brings the water back to the ground, it supplies it to the plants and humans.
I believe that the most significant process is evaporation. Evaporation from the ocean accounts for 80% of the water delivered as precipitation, with the balance occuring on land, inland waters, and plant surfaces. In other words, if we do not have much evporation we will not have much precipitation causing a decease in vegitation.
Precipitation is a significant process in my eyes just as Kaitlyn. My reason for this is because the precipitation is what shows the most to people. It also can be in different forms such as rain, snow, and hail.
I think the most significant process would be precipitation as well. The form of rain can support the cultivation of our crops, add nutrients to other bodies of water, and fulfill the lives of humans.
I think the most important process is evaporation. Without it precipitation could not occur like it normaly does. There are other processes for water vapor to make clouds but that is a small amount.
I think the most important part of the water cycle would be precipation as well. Without precipation we would have no ground water which means no fresh water for humans, animals and plants to be supplied with in order to live.
I agree with many of you that precipitation is the most important part of the water cycle. All living things MUST have freshwater to live, and without precipitation it would be very difficult to get enough water. Also, rain provides our crops with water so it not only helps us get something to drink but it also helps us get something to eat.
I definitely believe precipitation is the most significant process, because some farmers still rely on rain to water their crops. Farming fuels many lives, and rain provides other plants for animals around the world.
I agree with Aleck that precipitation is the most significant. Farmers could not grow crops without rain. We can not live without freshwater and neither can animals. Also, There wouldn't be a winter olympics because there would not be snow so that knocks out a lot of sports.
Well all of the processes play an important roll and without one of them there isnt going to be a water cycle, so I cant choose anyone of them more important than the other.
I would say that evaporation is the most significant part of the water cycle because it allows us to have sunny days. Of course our plants need water to live, but without sunlight they will die also.
I think that surface water is more significant because we have such a large amount on Earth. So from all that water, it can lead to the other important steps of the water cycle.
I think that we need all of the steps to have a water cycle. If we didnt have evaporation there would be no water vapor. If we didnt have condensation the process of water vapor turning into a liquid would never happen. And if we didnt have precipation it wouldnt rain and earth would become dry because all of the water is being evaproated.
Out of all of the steps i think condensation would be the most important. This is because when water vapor condensates it becomes either a liquid or solid, making it heavier than air. This means it will eventually have to drop, leading into precipitation.
